Copy
Ctrl + C

Clicking the Copy button will copy the selected Code information to the clipboard.

This allows the data to be pasted within Expert Estimation or into an external application.

Paste
Ctrl + P

Clicking the Paste button will insert the information from the clipboard into a new line, above the selected line.

When data is copied from an external application, the Paste Special window will be displayed allowing you to map into which columns the copied information is to be pasted.

Undo
Ctrl + Z

Clicking the Undo button reverses the last change made to the data.

Redo
Ctrl + Y

The Redo button becomes available when an undo action is performed and is used to reverse the undo action.

Properties
Alt + Enter

Opens the Properties pane on the right-hand side of the window.

This will display the details of the currently selected Code and gives you the ability to review multiple lines at once.

Refresh
F5

Clicking the Refresh button reloads the data in the window.

Add Code
Ctrl + Shift + =

Clicking the Add Code button will add a new Code to the Code Set Codes window with the default name ‘Code’.

Remove Code
Ctrl + Del

Clicking the Remove Code button will permanently remove the selected Code(s) from the Code Set Codes window.

Note: You cannot remove the Misallocation Code.

Remove All Allocations

The Remove All Allocations button will clear all current code allocations for the currently opened Code Set.

Expand All

The Expand All button will allow you to expand all the indents and indented levels within the Code Set.

Collapse All

The Collapse All button will allow you to collapse all the indents and indented levels within the Code Set.

Resource Allocations

Opens the Resource Allocations window, allowing you to assign a range of codes to the Resources used within your project.

Matrix Allocations

Opens the Matrix Allocations window, allowing you to assign a range of codes to the Matrix Items used within your project.

Direct Cost Allocations

Opens the Direct Cost Allocations window, allowing you to assign a range of codes to the Direct Cost Schedule items within your project.

Overhead Cost Allocations

Opens the Overhead Cost Allocations window, allowing you to assign a range of codes to the Overhead Cost Schedule items within your project.

Add Unit Column

Clicking the Add Unit Column button opens a sub-menu that allows you to add summary columns for selected units to the Code Set Codes window.

Each column will display the total usage of the unit(s) selected for each code.

Add Carbon Factor Column

The Add Carbon Factor Column button opens a sub-menu that allows you to add a summation column for selected Carbon Factors to the Code Set - Codes window.

This displays a total value of the selected profile for each code.

Restore Layout

If columns have been removed, adjusted, or relocated, clicking the Restore Layout button will restore columns to their default layout.

Filter Editor

Opens the Filter Editor to allow users to modify the contents of the grid so that only items that match the specific criteria set will be displayed.

Column Chooser

Search
F3

Clicking the Search function will display a field in the top right-hand corner of the grid, that will allow users to search the current window for the text entered.

Code Set Values

Prints the Code Set Values report for the current Code Set.

Code Set Resources

Prints the Code Set Resources report for the current Code Set.

Code Set Item Summary

Prints the Code Set Item Summary report for the current Code Set.

Direct Cost Code Allocations

Prints the Direct Cost Code Allocations report for the selected Code Set.

Overhead Cost Code Allocations

Prints the Overhead Cost Code Allocations report for the selected Code Set.

Resource Cost Code Allocations

Prints the Resource Cost Code Allocations report for the selected Code Set.

Group Resource Cost Code Allocations

Prints the Group Resource Cost Code Allocations report for the selected Code Set.
