We recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of Expert Estimation to gain access to application enhancements and bug fixes as soon as possible.

Please review the following list carefully as it may contain some alterations to existing functionality and features which can affect the way the program is used and the results obtained.



  • Improved the display and features set for the Resource Usage Tree.
  • Improved the display and search capabilities of the Project Selection drop-down.
  • Made adjustments to the Spread Calculation process.
  • Improved the Project Messages produced for invalid items associated with specific Spread Calculation settings.
  • Increased the maximum Sell Rate and Sell Total Rounding to 5 decimal places in the Spread Options of a Project's Properties menu.
  • Added the storing and retrieval of User Settings for the Remove Report Configuration window.


  • Resolved an issue where Units applied to Locked Sell Rate items were not being shown correctly.
  • Resolved an issue where Group Resources with Code Allocations could not be deleted.
  • Resolved a sporadic multi-threading issue experienced when opening a window.
  • Improved performance of the Escalation and Estimated Costs calculations when Escalation is enabled.
  • Fixed a bug preventing the Total of a Cost Estimate from updating after a line change causes a recalculation of the Cost Estimate.
  • Resolved a bug where Conflict Resolution would show an empty list of Resource Differences.
  • Prevented an error from being presented when a parent schedule item is removed from the project.
  • Resolved an issue where Resource Column filtering would not work in the Quotation Comparison Resources window.
  • Resolved an issue where selective calculations in a project with multiple levels of headings could cause temporary incorrect results.
  • Fixed an error where summation formula were being included upon calculating resource type escalated cost values for margin calculation.
  • Resolved an issue where Provisional Sum items that didn't have a Quantity were inconsistently calculated.
  • Resolved an issue where the Excluded property could not be included in a Paste from an external application to the Direct Cost Schedule.
  • Prevented an Error Message being presented when attempting to open the Licence Information window.
  • Resolved an issue that would prevent the calculation of item Sell Totals when changing an unused Group Resource's state to Finished.
  • Improved the loading time for Resource Usage data.
