Subcontractor Comparisons – Subcontractor Details – Ribbon Toolbar
Genesis edition only.
The contextual ribbon toolbar for the Subcontractor Comparisons – Subcontractor Details window provides you with access to all of the functions that allow you to add, remove, update, and review the Subcontractors within a Subcontractor Comparison.

GENERAL GROUP

Save |
When the Save button is clicked, changes that have been made to the Subcontractor Comparisons – Subcontractor Details window since opening will be saved to the project. |
|
Paste Cell |
Clicking the Paste Cell button will paste information from the clipboard into selected cells in the Subcontractor Comparison – Subcontractor Details window. |
|
Copy |
Clicking the Copy button will copy the selected cells to the clipboard. This allows the data to be pasted within Expert Estimation or into an external application. |

Automatic Proportioning |
Enabling the Automatic Proportioning toggle will automatically distribute the value of the Independent Cost Estimate proportionately across all items within the comparison for the Subcontractor based on the Quoted Total. Note: When enabled, the Independent Cost Estimates percentages are not able to be manually adjusted. |

View Independent Cost Estimate |
Clicking the View Independent Cost Estimate button will open a new tab displaying the Independent Cost Estimate for the currently opened Subcontractor. |

View Item Cost Estimate |
Clicking the View Item Cost Estimate button will open a new tab displaying the Item Cost Estimate for the currently opened Subcontractor. |
|
Distribute Lump Sum Value |
Clicking the Distribute Lump Sum Value button will open a dialogue window which will allow you to either append or replace a lump sum value to the currently selected items distributed based on a number of options. |

Toggle Parent Item Visibility |
Clicking the Toggle Parent Item Visibility button will show the Subcontractor parent and heading items. |

Restore Layout |
If columns have been removed, adjusted or relocated, clicking the Restore Layout button will restore columns to their default layout. |

Filter Editor |
Opens the Filter Editor to allow users to modify the contents of the grid so that only items that match the specific criteria set will be displayed. |

Column Chooser |
Clicking the Column Chooser button will open a dialogue box that will allow users to add or remove columns from the grid. |

Search |
Clicking the Search function will display a field in the top right-hand corner of the grid, that will allow users to search the current window for the text entered. |
