Quotation Comparisons – Ribbon Toolbar

The contextual ribbon toolbar for the Quotation Comparisons window gives you access to all the functions that allow you to add, remove, update, and review your project comparisons.

GENERAL GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
Copy Ctrl + C	Clicking the Copy button will copy the selected Quotation Comparison line to the clipboard. This allows the data to be pasted within Expert Estimation or into an external application.
Undo Ctrl + Z	Clicking the Undo button reverses the last change made to the data.
Redo Ctrl + Y	The Redo button becomes available when an undo action is performed and is used to reverse the undo action.

EDITING GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
Add Quotation Comparison Ctrl + Shift + =	Clicking the Add Quotation Comparison button will add a new comparison to the project with the default name ‘Quotation Comparison’.
Remove Quotation Comparison Ctrl + Del	To remove a Quotation Comparison simply select the quotation to be removed and click the Remove Quotation Comparison button. Note: You are only able to remove a comparison if the Quoter selected is the Original Value.
View Details	Clicking the View Details button will open the Quotation Details window for the selected Quotation Comparison.

Clicking the Add Quotation Comparison button will add a new comparison to the project with the default name ‘Quotation Comparison’.

Remove Quotation Comparison
Ctrl + Del

To remove a Quotation Comparison simply select the quotation to be removed and click the Remove Quotation Comparison button.

Note: You are only able to remove a comparison if the Quoter selected is the Original Value.

View Details

Clicking the View Details button will open the Quotation Details window for the selected Quotation Comparison.

DISPLAY GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
Restore Layout	If columns have been removed, adjusted or relocated, clicking the Restore Layout button will restore columns to their default layout.

ANALYSIS GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
Analyse Comparison	For an in-depth analysis of a comparison, clicking the Analyse Comparison button will open the Quotation Comparison Analysis window displaying the quoted resources per quoter, for the selected Quotation Comparison.

GRID GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
Filter Editor	Opens the Filter Editor to allow users to modify the contents of the grid so that only items that match the specific criteria set will be displayed.
Column Chooser	Clicking the Column Chooser button will open a dialogue box that will allow users to add or remove columns from the grid.
Search F3	Clicking the Search function will display a field in the top right-hand corner of the grid, that will allow users to search the current window for the text entered.

REPORTS GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
Quotation Comparisons	Prints the Quotation Comparisons report.
Quotation Comparison Details	Prints the Quotation Comparison Details report for the currently selected Quotation Comparison.
Quotation Comparison Quoter Details	Prints the Quotation Comparison Quoter Details for all Quoters within the currently selected Comparison.

HELP GROUP

NAME	DESCRIPTION
SavvyHelp F1	Selecting the SavvyHelp button will open the SavvyHelp pane on the right of the window. This will display useful information about the window as well as details for the columns, and a brief detail for each of the the available columns in the grid.
