Spread Groups

Genesis edition only.

During the Spread Calculation, Direct Cost Schedule items can be grouped together and calculated as a single combined item. This is useful to protect the overall recovery of the item’s overhead and margin components of the sell total when the total quantity of the group is constant, but the quantity of the individual items within the group may change.

Spread Groups window

The Spread Groups window gives you the ability to:

• Create and manage the Spread Groups in the project
• Allocate Spread Groups to various Direct Cost items
• Calculate a group of Direct Cost Items as a single item

The contextual ribbon menu at the top of the window shows all the functions available within the Spread Groups window.

The main grid area is where all available Spread Groups are displayed when you first open the Spread Groups window.
