Quotation Comparisons Quote Details – Ribbon Toolbar
The contextual ribbon toolbar for the Quotation Comparison Quote Details gives you access to all the functions that are specific to managing the information within the Quote Details window.
Some of the functions may not be available when you first open the window, this could be due to the window being locked. You can see who has locked the window by hovering your cursor over the padlock (
) icon in the window’s tab label.

GENERAL GROUP

Paste Cell |
Clicking the Paste Cell button will paste information from the clipboard into selected cells. |

Copy |
Clicking the Copy button will copy the selected line information to the clipboard. This allows you to paste the data into Expert Estimation or to an external application. |

Save |
When the Save button is clicked, changes made to the Quotation Comparisons Quote Details window since opening will be saved to the project. |

Automatic Proportioning |
Clicking the Automatic Proportioning button will automatically distribute the value of the Independent Cost Estimate proportionately across all resources within the comparison for the quoter. |

View Cost Estimate |
Clicking the View Cost Estimate button opens a new tab displaying the Independent Cost Estimate for the currently selected Quote. |

Opens the Filter Editor to allow users to modify the contents of the grid so that only items that match the specific criteria set will be displayed. |

Column Chooser |
Clicking the Column Chooser button will open a dialogue box that will allow users to add or remove columns from the grid. |

Search |
Clicking the Search function will display a field in the top right-hand corner of the grid, that will allow users to search the current window for the text entered. |
