Subcontractor Comparisons – Details – Ribbon Toolbar
Genesis edition only.
The contextual ribbon toolbar for the Subcontractor Comparisons – Details window provides you with access to all of the functions that allow you to add, remove, update, and review the Subcontractors within a Subcontractor Comparison.

GENERAL GROUP

Copy |
Clicking the Copy button will copy the selected Subcontractor information to the clipboard. This allows you to paste the data into Expert Estimation or into an external application. |
|
Undo |
Clicking the Undo button reverses the last change made to the data. |
|
Redo |
The Redo button becomes available when an undo action is performed and is used to reverse the undo action. |

Add Subcontractor |
Clicking the Add Subcontractor button creates a new Subcontractor in the Comparison. |
|
Remove Subcontractor |
Clicking the Remove Subcontractor button will permanently remove the selected Subcontractor(s) from the Comparison. Note: You cannot remove the Self Performing Subcontractor or the Subcontractor that is marked as selected. |

Manage Items |
The Manage Items button will open a new tab where you can add and manage the Cost Schedule items that will be associated with the comparison. |
|
Subcontractor Details |
The Subcontractor Details button will open a new tab where the details supplied by the Subcontractor can be entered for each of the comparison’s Cost Schedule Items. |

Clone Subcontractor |
Clicking the Clone Subcontractor button allows you to quickly copy and rename the selected subcontractor. |

Restore Layout |
If columns have been removed, adjusted or relocated, clicking the Restore Layout button will restore columns to their default layout. |

Selected Subcontractor |
Clicking the Selected Subcontractor button selects the Subcontractor that has been chosen for the items associated with the comparison. |
|
Confirm Selected Subcontractor |
Should any changes be made to the Subcontractor Comparison, a Warning Project Message will appear stating the selected subcontractor will need to be confirmed. Clicking the Confirm Selected Subcontractor button will validate the selected subcontractor and re-apply supplied values to the comparison’s items. |

Filter Editor |
Opens the Filter Editor to allow users to modify the contents of the grid so that only items that match the specific criteria set will be displayed. |

Column Chooser |
Clicking the Column Chooser button will open a dialogue box that will allow users to add or remove columns from the grid. |
|
Search |
Clicking the Search function will display a field in the top right-hand corner of the grid, that will allow users to search the current window for the text entered. |
