Quotation Comparisons Details – Ribbon Toolbar
The Quotation Comparison Details contextual ribbon toolbar enables access to core window functions.

GENERAL GROUP

Copy |
Clicking the Copy button will copy the selected quoter line information to the clipboard. This allows you to paste the data into Expert Estimation or to an external application. |
|
Undo |
Clicking the Undo button reverses the last change made to the data. |
|
Redo |
The Redo button becomes available when an undo action is performed and is used to reverse the undo action. |

Add Quoter |
Clicking the Add Quoter button creates an additional Quoter in the Comparison. |
|
Remove Quoter |
Clicking the Remove Quoter button will permanently remove the selected quoter(s) from the Comparison. Note: You cannot remove the Original Values quoter or the Quoter that is marked as the selected quoter. |

Manage Resources |
The Manage Resource button will open a new tab where you can add and manage the resources that are associated with this comparison. |
|
Quote Details |
The Quote Details button will open a new tab where the details supplied by the quoter can be entered for each of the comparison’s resources. |
|
Clone Quoter |
The Clone Quoter button create a clone of the selected quoter. |

Mark Quoter as Selected |
Clicking this button will replace the calculated rates of the Resources used in the Comparison throughout the project. This can be confirmed by viewing the resources from the Resource Explorer after selecting a quoter. |

Confirm Selected Quoter |
Should any changes be made to the Quotation Comparison, a Warning Project Message will appear stating the selected quoter will need to be confirmed. Clicking the Confirm Selected Quoter button will validate the selected quoter and re-apply quoted rates to the comparison’s resources. |

Analyse Comparison |
For an in-depth analysis of a comparison, clicking the Analyse Comparison button will open the Quotation Comparison Details Analysis window displaying the quoted resources per quoter, for the selected Quotation Comparison. |

Restore Layout |
If columns have been removed, adjusted or relocated, clicking the Restore Layout button will restore columns to their default layout. |

Filter Editor |
Opens the Filter Editor to allow users to modify the contents of the grid so that only items that match the specific criteria set will be displayed. |

Column Chooser |
Clicking the Column Chooser button will open a dialogue box that will allow users to add or remove columns from the grid. |

Search |
Clicking the Search function will display a field in the top right-hand corner of the grid, that will allow users to search the current window for the text entered. |
