Indicates editable status of a Subcontractor Comparison.

If a lock icon is displayed on a Comparison, changes are unable to be made as it is either being edited by yourself in another window or by another concurrent user.

Hovering the mouse over the lock icon shows the user that has locked the Comparison from being edited.

Name

This column allows you to enter a unique name or identifier for the Subcontractor Comparison.

Description

The Description column allows you to provide a detailed explanation of the Subcontractor Comparison.

Resource Category Subfolder

This column allows for a default resource category subfolder to be set for resources created within the comparison.

By default, when left blank, resources will be created in the parent Subcontractor folder.

If the subfolder does not already exist, it will be created automatically underneath the parent Subcontract folder.

Note: Changing this field after resources have been created will open a dialog prompt to move the existing resources to the new default folder.

# Items

This column shows the number of items that make up the subcontractor comparison.

Selected Subcontractor Name

This column displays the name of the subcontractor that is currently selected as the ‘preferred subcontractor’.

By default, this displays Self Performing Subcontractor indicating that you are using the original values for the items included in the comparison.

# Subcontractors

This column shows the number of subcontractors available within the comparison.

Total Quoted Value

Represents the total value quoted for by the Selected Subcontractor.

Note: This column is read-only.

Total Self Performed Value

Represents the total value of work to be self performed for the Selected Subcontractor.

Note: This column is read-only.

Independent Cost Estimate Value

Represents the total value of the Independent Cost Estimate for the Selected Subcontractor.

Total Subcontractor Value

The Total Subcontractor Value column displays the total value of the Selected Subcontractor for a Subcontractor Comparison.

Rank

Provides you with an indication of the order of your Subcontractors with rank one being the lowest price to the most expensive quoter having a higher rank.

Note: This column is read-only.

Percentage Difference

This column displays the percentage difference between the currently selected subcontractor’s value and the lowest value within the comparison.

If the selected quoter is the lowest value in the comparison, the Percent Difference column represents the difference between the selected subcontractor’s value and the next lowest subcontractor’s value.

Status

The Status column indicates how complete the selected Subcontractor of a Subcontractor Comparison is.
