Resource Calculation Templates – Calculation Sheet

Calculation sheets are used to build up the result of a Resource Calculation Template, and are available via the Resource Explorer.
Any base resource can have a calculation sheet. The final result of a Calculation Sheet will use the Base Rate of the resource and apply additional costs (eg. insurances, fees, consumables) to develop the Calculated Rate to be used throughout the project.
Resource Calculation Template – Calculation Sheet
The first line of a Calculation Sheet displays the Base Rate of the resource with which the template is associated in the value column. If viewed from the Resource Calculation Templates window, the value of the first line will default to a value of 1 as it is not, as a template, assigned to a resource.
Note: The first line of a Calculation Sheet cannot be edited directly.
Each line in the Calculation Sheet can be used to record adjustments to the base rate of a resource by making use of formulae, defines or by entering cost values directly.
The Total field on the last line of a calculation sheet is the value that will be used as the Resource Calculation Result. This value is also displayed in the bottom left of the window.
