SavePoints Comparison

The SavePoints Comparison window is used to analyse the difference in critical values between the current project and any selected Project SavePoints that have been previously created. The SavePoints Comparison window is accessible from the Project SavePoints window under the Manage tab.

The SavePoints Comparison analysis is presented as a grid detailing each SavePoint as its own column and the corresponding values for that SavePoint as the row data defined by the Name column. The values displayed include the Project Total, Estimated Costs Total for Direct Costs and Overhead Costs, Margin, Postadjustments and Provisional Sums.

If you have any Project SavePoints selected while opening the Comparison window, then those SavePoints will automatically be displayed in the Comparison grid along with the Current Project Values. Project SavePoints displayed in the Comparison window are ordered from most recent to oldest from left to right.

Note: Any changes made to the project while the Project SavePoints Comparison is open will cause a banner to appear along the top of the analysis window, prompting you to Refresh the window.

FORMATTING

You can change the format of the data displayed by clicking the Change button, in the bottom left-hand corner in the Options section of the analysis window. Once opened this Change button will become an Apply button. Clicking this after adjusting the formatting options will then trigger a refresh in the Comparison window to display the new configuration.
