The first time Expert Estimation is opened after connecting to a server, a window will be displayed allowing the user to enter a licence key and validate their copy of the application.
Validating Licence Key
In order to validate the licence key:
- Enter the 18 character Licence Key provided from Pronamics
- Click the Validate button
Upon successful validation of the licence key, the list of Product Editions will become available
- Select the required Product Edition
- Click the Select button
When the key is entered the application contacts the Pronamics licencing server at extranet.pronamics.com in order to request a licence. If a licence is available the licence information window will be closed automatically and, the application will proceed to the Welcome screen
Should the activation not work correctly, this may suggest that all available licences are in use, you are not connected to the internet, or a proxy is blocking connection to and from the licencing server.
If for any reason allocation cannot be made, an error will be displayed explaining why. Should this occur, contact Pronamics Support for further understanding of what has gone wrong.
