Each window within Cost to Complete has a unique workspace layout. The following displays a list of the available columns available within the Resource Explorer window.

| Resource | The unique identifier for a resource
Note: A resource name cannot be more than 255 alphanumeric characters. |
| Type | The Type column allows you to define the Resource Type to which a resource will be assigned.
Resources can be assigned to either Group, Labour, Material, Plant or Subcontract resource types. |
| Resource Description | This column allows you to provide a detailed explanation about a resource.
A resource’s description can be automatically included in the comment column of a Cost Estimate when the Resource is used. |
| Buy Rate | The Buy Rate column shows the default value that will be used in the Resource Rate column of a Cost Estimate when the Resource is used.
The Buy Rate of a Group Resource is calculated by its Cost Estimate. |
| Sell Rate | The Sell Rate column represents the rate at which the Resource will be sold.
Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Unit | The Unit column displays the unit of measure of the resource. |
| Major Sort Code | The Major Sort Code is used to group various Resources together and can be arrangement of text up to 50 characters.
The Major Sort Code will appear in the left pane directly under the Resource Types. |
| Minor Sort Code | The Minor Sort Code is used to further categorise Resources together and can be any text up to 50 characters.
The Minor Sort Code will appear in the left pane directly under the associated Major Sort Code. |
| Subcontractor/Supplier | The Subcontractor/Supplier column allows you to record the name of your Subcontractor or Supplier for a resource.
This field can accept up to 255 characters as a Subcontractor/Supplier name. |
| Cost Code | The Cost Code column show the default Cost Code allocated to the Resource.
When the Resource is used in a location which requires a Cost Code, the default Cost Code will be automatically applied. Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Payment Lag | The Payment Lag represents the time between the consumption of a Resource and payment for the Resource.
Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Resource Group | The Resource Group column is used to group very similar Resources together to perform an analysis.
Example: Excavator 1, Excavator 2 and Excavator 3 might be grouped as 30 tonne Excavator. Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Date Flag | This column indicates the date on which the Resource was last modified. |
| Tender Usage | The Tender Usage column displays the total quantity used of a resource in the imported estimate.
Note: This field is read-only. |
| General Ledger Account | The General ledger Account column shows the default General Ledger Account that will be applied when the Resource is used.
Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Production Unit | The Production Unit column shows the Production Unit that will be applied when the Resource is used.
Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Production Multiplier | The Production Multiplier column shows the default Production Multiplier value that will be applied when the Resource is used.
Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Carbon Credit | The Carbon Credit column shows the default Carbon Credit value that will be applied when the Resource is used.
Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
| Carbon Debit | The Carbon Debit column shows the default Carbon Debit value that will be applied when the Resource is used.

| Export Codes | The Export Code columns shows the Export Codes that will be applied when the Resource is used.
You can have up to 6 Export Codes. Note: This column is only displayed when an Expert Project file is opened in Cost to Complete. |
