  • Added the ability to create Take Off Sets from within a range of windows including the Direct Cost Schedule, Overhead Cost Schedule and Cost Estimates.
  • Added a function to the Resource Explorer to allow multiple Resource names to have their Name property changed to uppercase.
  • Introduced a Project Property that, when enabled, only allows Resource Names to use uppercase characters.
  • Added a user option for Cost Schedule windows to always show a parent’s combined value regardless of being collapsed or expanded.
  • Adjusted the process for creating a new Take Off Set, allowing for the rapid creation of Take Off Attributes from pre-existing attributes found in other projects on the same server.
  • Enforced the uppercase of resource names from external sources when the project option is turned on.
  • Added a user option to define the State of Cost Schedule Items and Resource when they are introduced from an external source (such as pasting from another project).
  • Added Advanced/Deferred Costs and Income as Cash Flow Scenario specific options.
  • Added ability to fix columns to the left or right of grids so that they are always visible.

  • Created a formula function and operator for calculating the remainder of a division operation. This is also known as a modulus operation.

  • Added Clipboard Caching, improving the processing of data coming from external sources via the Windows Clipboard.

  • Resolved a Server deadlock caused by the changing of a project’s metadata field.
  • Improved the memory resource management of calculated formula resolved on an Expert Estimation Server.
  • Resolved an issue where removing a Project Folder would not remove the folder from the Create Project windows.
  • Fixed a scenario that prevented Matrix Attributes from being displayed in the Properties pane after creation.
  • Removed a restriction that, when deleting an Expert Estimation user account, would permanently restrict a domain user from being associated with any further user account.
  • Resolved an issue where Code Set calculations would fail due to very small values within a Cost Estimate.
  • Fixed displayed errors and excessive delays triggered by updating security information on the Server Configuration portal.
  • Improved the opening of a Cost Schedule Item’s Cost Estimates when calculations were running on the Server.
  • Resolved an issue where the Expert Estimation Server would stop calculating based on a Safe Handle exception.
  • Resolved a scenario where pasting a Cost Estimate Line with a formula would trigger the Quantity property to incorrectly be read-only.
  • Resolved a problem with closing the Global Defines window immediately after saving, causing an error to be displayed.
  • Resolved an issue where a formula error was not raised when referenced Cost Estimate Lines were removed.
  • Resolved issue with a Cost Estimate calculation referencing incorrect Resource Usage information from Direct Cost Schedule Items.
  • Resolved an issue where values for the Plant and Material properties of items in the Direct and Overhead Cost Schedules were swapped.
  • Fixed the calculation of a value generated for a Cost Estimate Report that would cause a divide by zero error.
  • Fixed a scenario where an exception was thrown when adding Direct/Overhead Cost Schedule Items too quickly.
  • Prevented an unnecessary toast from being displayed when saving Global Define changes whilst having a lock on a Cost Schedule Item that references an unedited Global Define.
  • Prevented the cancelling of a cell edit within a Cost Estimate when a Resource was updated.
  • Enabled the Project Folder actions on the Projects view when opening the application for the first time.
  • Fixed an update issue where a Base Resource Rate would not update on the grid after being changed in the properties pane.
  • Resolved an issue that caused temporary user settings to be applied after updating to Expert Estimation 1.1.7383.0.
  • Resolved an issue where pasting large amounts of user defined column data into the Direct Cost Schedule would result in an error.
  • Resolved an issue where successively using the Undo Operation in the Resource Template Calculation Sheet created duplicate line numbers.
  • Fixed a problem where copying a project did not copy the Project Description.
  • Resolved an issue where child items would be shown on the Spread Results Report.
  • Resolved an issue where Cost Flow information would be inconsistent depending on the type of Cash Flow used.
  • Prevented the selection on the Direct Costs Schedule window from changing if you add lines in a second instance of the Schedule.
  • Fixed the highlight colouring of contributing items that become child items in a certain scenario.
  • Fixed the description of a Project Message labelled in the Project Properties.
  • Fixed the incorrect display of Code Allocation Project Messages when more than one item was allocated to a code.
  • Resolved a scenario where spread allocations were not imported correctly when using Hidden Items in a project.
  • Fixed the positioning of Unit Rate and Unit Total columns when reopening the Direct and Overhead Cost Schedule windows.
  • Prevented the calculation of hidden child items in the Direct Cost Schedule.
  • Resolved an issue where values in the Subcontractor Details window would occasionally not be displayed.
  • Resolved an issue where Resource Usage for Matrix Items used on the Direct Cost Schedule were being calculated incorrectly when an Estimated Quantity was present.
  • Fixed a number of reported and unreported bugs.
