The Project Backup section of the Options window contains settings relating to the general configuration for periodic backups of a project.
General
| Option | Description |

| Automatic Backup | Enable or disable the automatic backup of projects.
*Note: The remaining options are only available if this option is enabled. |
| Backup Folder* | Allows you to define the location where backup files are saved. If this field is left blank, the backups will be placed in the same folder as the project. |
| Minutes Between Backup* | Allows you to set the time period (in minutes) at which backup files will be created. |
| Format of Target Backup File* | The Format Target Backup File options, allow you to define how the backup ZIP file of the project files will be named.

| Reverse Date* | Checking this option reverses the date on backup file names from the default DD/MM/YYYY to YYYY/MM/DD.
Note: This results in backups being ordered chronologically when viewed in a file manager application. |
| Backup on Project Open* |
When this option is checked, a project backup will occur immediately upon a project being opened. |
| Backup on Project Close* |
When this option is checked, a project backup will occur when the currently opened project has been closed. |
