Item Markup Type

The Item Markup can be altered within the Spread Nomination window, this allows for control over the type of values that are spread to each item, affecting the final sell total. An example of this may be that an item that is all-inclusive, so Overhead may be turned off for this item.

ITEM MARKUP TYPES

To change the type of value an item will receive, use the checkboxes in the Markup section of the Properties Pane, or the available in the grid. You are able to select if an item receives a markup from:

  • Overheads
  • Margin
  • Preadjustments
  • Postadjustments
  • Risk and Opportunities
  • Hidden Items

Changing the markup that an item will receive can lead to a potential misclose value. If there is remaining value in a spread pool, but none of the remaining items are set to receive spread from that pool, the value that remains causes a misclose.

ZERO TEXT VALUE

It possible to display text note in the total column on the Submission Schedule if an item has a value of $0.00. An example of this may be that an item must be listed on the submission but its value has been included in another item.

Specifying a Zero Text Value for an item is possible through the Properties pane or from the Zero Text Value column in the Spread Nominations window.
