Project Properties – Ribbon Menu

The contextual ribbon menu for Project Properties gives you access to all the functions that are specific to that window.

GENERAL GROUP

NAME

DESCRIPTION

Edit
Ctrl + Q

Clicking the Edit function allows you to make changes or modify the Project Properties window.

Only one user per project is able to edit the Project Properties at any one point in time.

Cancel
Ctrl + W

Any changes made to the information within the window can be reverted by clicking the Cancel button.

This button also locks the window from further editing until the Edit button is reselected.

Save
Ctrl + S

Clicking the Save button saves changes made to the Project Properties window.

Similar to the Cancel button, this also locks the window from being edited until the Edit button is reselected.

EDITING GROUP

NAME

DESCRIPTION

Lock Project
Ctrl + L

Clicking the Lock Project button puts the current project into a read-only mode.

When the project is locked, no data within the project can be modified.

Clicking the Lock Project button again enables project editing.

PROTECT PROJECT GROUP

NAME

DESCRIPTION

Set Password

Clicking the Set Password button opens a window that allows you to set an access password for the project.

Note: If you forget the password you will not be able to access the project without contacting Pronamics Technical Support.

Remove Password

Clicking the Remove Password button removes the project password.

You must enter the current password in order to complete this operation.

Modify Password

Clicking the Modify Password button allows you to change the project password.

You must enter the current password in order to complete this operation.

LINKED PROJECT GROUP

NAME

DESCRIPTION

Validate Access

Clicking the Validate Access button opens a popup window that allows you to validate passwords against any linked project.

If linked projects are not validated you will not be able to use their contained resources in the current project.

HELP GROUP

NAME

DESCRIPTION

SavvyHelp
F1

Clicking the SavvyHelp button will display the SavvyHelp pane down the right-hand side of the window.

Useful information, as well as details for the columns available, is displayed when SavvyHelp is selected.
