Automated Deployment Strategy for Client Access

In order to allow access to a single Expert Estimation Server, each user’s machine needs to have the Expert Estimation Shell installed.

In a standard installation, this can be performed by the user, or an Administrator, via the Pronamics Product Selector.

An alternative method is available for large-scale enterprise deployment. On request, Pronamics can provide Administrators with the essential files for deploying the Expert Estimation Shell to each workstation as a Microsoft Installer (.msi) file. Please contact the Pronamics Support Team on +61 7 4381 9626 or support@pronamics.com.au for this.

All files associated with the MSI will be deployed to the following location:

• C:\ProgramData\Pronamics\Expert Estimation\Shell\Shell.<version>

This process results in the shortcut for the application being placed on the desktop.
