Code Set Codes – Grid Columns

Each window within Expert Estimation has a unique workspace layout. The following displays a list of the available columns available within the Code Set Codes window.

DESCRIPTION |

Name |
This column allows you to enter a unique name or identifier for a Code. Note: You cannot rename the Misallocation Code. |

Indicates editable status of a Code. If a lock icon is displayed on a Code, changes are unable to be made as it is either being edited by yourself in another window or by another concurrent user. Hovering the mouse over the lock icon shows the user that has locked the Code from being edited. Note: This field is read-only. |
Description |
The Description column allows you to record a detailed explanation for a Code. |
Unit |
Allows you to record an optional unit of measure for a Code. |
Quantity |
Allows you to record an optional quantity for a Code. This quantity is used to calculate the Cost and Sell Rates of a Code. |
Labour |
Represents the Total Labour Costs allocated to a Code. |
Material |
Represents the Total Material Costs allocated to a Code. |
Plant |
Represents the Total Plant Costs allocated to a Code. |
Subcontract |
Represents the Total Subcontract Costs allocated to a Code. |
Other |
Represents the Total Other Costs allocated to a Code. |
Cost Rate |
The Cost Rate column shows the per unit rate of a Code. This is calculated by dividing the Cost Total value by the Quantity. If no quantity is entered the Cost Rate will be blank. |
Cost Total |
The Cost Total column represents the total value of a Code based on its allocations. |
Sell Rate |
This column displays the Sell Rate for each Code. This is calculated by dividing the Sell Total value by the Quantity. If no quantity is entered the Sell Rate will be blank. |
Sell Total |
The Sell Total column represents the total Sell Value of a Code based on its allocations. |
