Period Number

The identifier for a period. This field is populated automatically to assist in identifying the time period for results and general navigation.

Period End Date

Displays the last date of a time period.

Changing the Period length will modify the End dates displayed in the Cash Flow Results.

Resource Type Costs

Represents the cost for each Base Resource Type used in a project that has been consumed in the current period of a Cash Flow Scenario.

Cost Total

Represents the total cost of all Resource Types used in a project that has been consumed in the current period of a Cash Flow Scenario.

Resource Type Accruals

Displays the accrued cost for each Base Resource Type based on the Cost Processing Rules and Cost Payment Lags set in the Cash Flow Scenario Options – Cost Processing Rules and Cash Flow Scenario Options – Cost Payment Lag windows respectively.

Total Cost Accrual

Displays the total accrued Costs for all Resource Types for the period based on the Cost Processing Rules and Cost Payment Lags set.

This means that at any period you can see how much accrued cost value you owe (negative value) or is owed (positive value).

Incurred Resource Type Cost

Represents the total for each Base Resources Type where cost is actually incurred excluding any Cost Processing Rules or Cost Payment Lags for the period.

Total Incurred Cost

Displays the total incurred cost for all Resource Types excluding any Cost Processing Rules or Cost Payment Lags for the period.

Advanced/Deferred Cost

Represents the total cost that has either been advanced from upcoming periods or deferred from previous Cash Flow periods.

Total Cost including Advanced/Deferred Cost

Represents the total cost value for all Resource Types inclusive of any Advanced/Deferred cost for the period.

Income Accrual

Displays the total Accrued Income value for the period based on the Progress Claim frequency and Income delays set in the Cash Flow Scenario Options – Income window.

Accrued income is income which has been earned but not yet received.

Income Total

Represents the total Income received for the period.

Claim Income

The actual income that will be claimed for the current period.

Advanced/Deferred Income Accrual

Displays the total Advanced/Deferred income value accrued for the period.

Advanced/Deferred Income is accrued when the Processing method set in the Cash Flow Scenario Options – Advanced/Deferred Income window, for Advanced/Deferred income is set to “With next Progress Claim” and factors in the the Progress Claim frequency and Income delays set in the Cash Flow Scenario Options – Income window.

Advanced/Deferred Income

Represents the total Advanced/Deferred income for the period.

Claim Advanced/Deferred Income

Represents the total claimed Advanced/Deferred income for the period.

Accrual Total

Displays the combined accrued value for a period and any periods that preceded it.

The value is based on the difference between the Total Cost Accrual and Income Accrual columns for the period.

This means that at any period you can see how much accrued value you owe (negative value) or is owed (positive value) to you.

Accrual Total including Advanced/Deferred Income Accrual

Represents the total Accrued value of the project inclusive of any Advanced/Deferred income accrued for the period.

Income Accrual including Advanced/Deferred Income Accrual

Claim Income including Claim Advanced/Deferred Income

Displays the total claimed Income inclusive of any claimed Advanced/Deferred Income for the period.

Claim Accrual including Advanced/Deferred Claim Accrual

Represents the Claim Accrued value of the project inclusive of any Advanced/ Deferred claims accrued for the period.

Total Income including Advanced/Deferred Income

Displays the Total Income for a period, inclusive of any Advanced/Deferred Income values for that period.

Period Delta

Displays the difference between the Cost Total and Income Total for the period.

Cumulative Total

The Cumulative Total is the ongoing sum of all previous Cash Flow period’s Income, less Cost Totals. 

Period Delta including Advanced/Deferred Cost/Income

Displays the combined value of the difference between the Cost and Income totals, and the income that has either been Advanced or Deferred for the current period.

Cumulative Total including Advanced/Deferred Cost/Income

Displays the combined value of the Cumulative Total for a period and the Total value assigned to the period from both Cost and Income, coming from either Advances or Deferrals of past or future Cash Flow periods.

Escalation Resource Type Cost

Displays the Escalation values for the different Base Resources Type usage for the period.

Escalation Total Cost

Displays the Total Escalation value for each period. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type values for each period.

Resource Type Cost (incl. Escalation)

Displays the Total Cost value for the Base Resources Type including the Escalation value for the period.

Total Cost (incl. Escalation)

Displays the Total Cost value for each period including Escalation. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type values for each period and their Escalation values.

Accrued Escalation Resource Type Cost

Displays the Accrued Escalation value for the period for each Base Resources Type in the project.

Accrued Escalation Total Cost

Represents the Total Accrued Escalation Cost for the period. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type Accrued Escalation Cost Total values.

Accrued Resource Type Cost (incl. Escalation)

Displays the Accrued Cost value for the period for each Base Resources Type in the project including Escalation values.

Accrued Total Cost (incl. Escalation)

Represents the Total Accrued Cost for the period including Escalation. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type Accrued Cost Total and Escalation values.

Incurred Escalation Resource Type Cost

Displays the Incurred Escalation Cost value for each Base Resources Type for each period.

Incurred Escalation Total Cost

Represents the Total Incurred Escalation Cost for the period. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type Incurred Escalation Cost Total values.

Incurred Resource Type Cost (incl. Escalation)

Displays the Incurred Cost values for the period for each Base Resources Type including Escalation values.

Incurred Total Cost (incl. Escalation)

Represents the Total Incurred Cost for the period including Escalation.

This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type Incurred Cost Total values and Incurred Escalation Cost values. 

Total Cost (incl. Escalation and Advanced/ Deferred Cost)

Represents the Total Cost of the period including Escalation and Advanced/Deferred Costs. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type Cost values and the Escalation values and any Advanced/Deferred values for the period.

Accrual Total (incl. Escalation and Advanced/Deferred Income Accrual)

Represents the Accrued Total of the period including Escalation and Advanced/Deferred Incomes. This is the combined total of the Base Resource Type Accrued Income values and the Escalation values and any Advanced/Deferred values for the period.

Period Delta (incl. Escalation)

Displays the difference between the Cost Total and the Income Total for the period, including Escalation values.

Period Delta (incl. Escalation and Advanced/Deferred Cost/Income)

Displays the difference between the Cost Total and the Income Total for the period, including Escalation values and Advanced/Deferred Cost and Income values.

Cumulative Total (incl. Escalation)

The Cumulative Total is the ongoing sum of all previous Cash Flow period’s Income including Escalation, less Cost Totals including Escalation.

Cumulative Total Incl. Escalation and Advanced/ Deferred Cost/Income)

The Cumulative Total is the ongoing sum of all previous Cash Flow period’s Income including Escalation and Advanced/Deferred income values, less Cost Totals including Escalation and Advanced/Deferred cost values.
